Installation Guide

Windows
  1. 1Download the Windows installer from the official download page
  2. 2Run the installer (may need to click 'More info' then 'Run anyway' for SmartScreen)
  3. 3If blocked, adjust Windows Defender settings to 'Warn' instead of 'Block'
  4. 4Launch from desktop shortcut or start menu
Linux
  1. 1Download .deb package for Debian/Ubuntu or install from AUR for Arch
  2. 2Install with: sudo apt install ~/Downloads/brickadia-launcher.deb
  3. 3For other distros, download .tar.xz archive and extract
  4. 4Note: Vulkan renderer may be unstable, consider using Proton

Building Tools

Brickadia features 7 essential building tools to enhance your creative experience. Master these tools to build anything you can imagine.

Placer
The primary tool for placing bricks in your builds

Click to place bricks, hold and drag for rows, middle-click to copy bricks as temporary items

Painter
Change colors and materials of your bricks

Paint with colors and materials like plastic, glass, glow, metallic, and hologram

Hammer
Remove bricks from your builds

Left click to remove bricks, hold for consecutive removal, middle-click for ownership checking

Resizer
Resize eligible bricks in your builds

Click on bricks and drag handles to resize in different directions

Selector
Select multiple bricks for batch operations

Create selection boxes, copy/paste/cut/delete multiple bricks at once

Applicator
Apply components and modify brick properties

Add lights, sounds, item spawns, and modify visibility/collision properties

Outliner
Create circle guides for building

Click and drag to generate circles, resize and move for precise building guides

Components

Components add functionality and interactivity to your builds. From lighting to sound effects, these components bring your creations to life.

Spot Light
Rotatable and adjustable spotlight component

Tip: Rotates with placer preview, avoid overlapping for performance

Point Light
Omnidirectional point light source

Tip: Use small radius for signs and effects, shadows are performance-intensive

Audio
Add sounds and music to bricks

Tip: Use pitch multiplier for variety, avoid loud sounds in public servers

Item Spawn
Spawn weapons and items on bricks

Tip: Great for decoration with rotation/offset, useful for deathmatch health pickups

Essential Features

Catalog
Browse and select bricks and weapons. Press B to open.
Radial Menus
Quick access to tools and emotes. Hold G for tools, H for emotes.
Presets
Save configurations for avatars, palettes, components, and more.
Quickbar
Your main inventory bar. Switch modes with Ctrl+Q.
